Testing has become the ultimate measure of success. It causes stress for everyone involved.

Too much time indoors

Children spend less time outside each day than in the past.

Many educators are leaving the field because of burnout and lack of autonomy.

Curriculum is becoming more scripted, taking creativity away from teachers and students.

Schools feel pressure to raise scores resulting in the focus on one facet of learning rather than holistic growth.

Hello! I’m Christin, the director of Envision Academy. I am honored to be a part of this dream for a different kind of school. At Envision Academy, there are several things we emphasize:

We believe that Jesus provides true hope. Following him includes loving God, loving others, and pursuing justice.

Strengths

Each of us have unique strengths. One goal of Envision Academy is helping our students discover their strengths and how to use them to help themselves and others.

Collaboration

One vital skill in today’s world is learning to work well with others. We will give our students opportunities to thoughtfully and diligently work together.

Lifelong Learning

There is always more to learn. We will empower our students to learn well with the skills of discernment, persistence, and critical thinking.

We help each student along their unique educational path. This includes multi-age classrooms and some choice in what is learned.

Utilizing the Outdoors

Time outside is beneficial in so many ways. It helps our brains reset and provides learning opportunities. As the weather allows, we will spend an hour outside each day.

Multiple Teachers per Classroom

Two certified teachers will be in each classroom. This will provide flexibility with instruction and support for social and emotional learning.

Flexible and Creative Curriculum

Our educational model is a unique blend of curriculum, electives, and time for play. We work hard to instill a love for learning in each student.
